About this deal

Firstly, there is not one human being on this planet that is perfect, and by fully understanding that, we develop a sense of compassion and a bridge towards others, a non judgmental path, a genuine bridge of understanding.

If you've just busted your toe, or broken a plate you love, or lost two hours of work because the computer blitzed and you hadn't remembered to save anything - I get it. Then displayed with delight, the object has taken on a unique look, its gold cracks now part of its character and story. For another, I have a strong current intolerance of Me-centered people, and the handling of the first person narrative echoes a person I have no choice but to deal with in my life. There may well be something in your suggestion that those who realise that we are all broken in some way, cope better than those who don’t.

There are a lot of characters in the story, and it would have helped me keep track of who they are, their individual stories and their interrelationships. From the other characters, Cassandra has to tell Lily a secret that sends her running of to London to be a nurse, Urusula having a German surname is targated in prejudiced attacks, and Edith’s sons both go off to War whilst her daughter Pearl signs up to drive ambulances in London. Now to put the icing o the cake how this author was able to present the 'secrets and revelations' that will come out from this read was very well done.

But there is some sort of additional charm in the book being "written British" that just contributed to my immersion in the story. January: the first payday of 2016 seems a long way away, and the media is full of the misery of ‘Blue Monday’.She has won first prize in five short story competitions and wrote a regular column on interior design for The Maidenhead Advertiser for two years.

I see cracks as wounds or merely imperfections, whereas the light is pure love, virtue of kindness, forgiveness and gentleness and understanding to overcome the darkness. Putting her life back together after a break-up is going to take time, but the crumbling country estate? In this exhibition, the text not only gives one a greater appreciation of the art, but helps normalise the artists’ mental health issues. Charlotte Betts’ Letting In The Light is a vivid, captivating and enjoyable historical tale of love, loss, courage and sacrifice written straight from the heart that I was completely mesmerized by. I'm so sorry I left the book so long Emma - it really deserves its ongoing success, I wish it a very happy book birthday, and I hope it won't be too long until we're able to read your next.

It’s a challenging time for everyone, but especially so for those who are not in robust mental health.
