About this deal

Autumn Statement: Workers to pay less in national insurance – but rate cuts don't offset the freezing of personal tax thresholds Like Onlythesound implies, if anyone is to assist you, we need more information. In addition to info already requested, I'd like to know:

The combination of low-end stability and dynamic sensibilities leaves us with a remarkably human performance for a hi-fi system at this price. Verdict Prices valid in stores (all including VAT) until close of business on 25th November 2023. (Some of these web prices are cheaper than in-store, so please mention that you've seen these offers online.) DrazenBab said:I would also buy, if I were you. I did, to replace my classic D-M35DAB which I owned and may I say loved for close to 18 years. The new M41 adds a whole new sonic presence and dimension, matched with my award-winning Wharfedale 11.2 stand mounts and a 10" Sub, this little giant killer is a must to behold. You know what they say, you never know what the future M42 could bring to the mix or lose in that regard. Sometimes they add few bits but drop few in the process too. If you're after built-in WiFi (which isn't a guarantee they will finally include it in the M42) you could wait, but if you are after sound quality and performance - the M41 is it! Cheers.

Often compared with Denon SC-M41

By fitting a subwoofer output, Denon gives you a wider choice of speaker options. Instead of medium-sized or floorstanding speakers you can use an active subwoofer with small satellite speakers - the choice is yours. Whether you want to control any gear via wifi using apps on another device (laptop, mobile 'phone etc) or whether you prefer hifi that has all necessary inbuilt controls. Although a brilliant system in its own right, the DM41DAB reaches out to your other sources, too. If you've got a TV, games console or TV set-top box, you can plug them in using the two standard optical inputs. An analogue AUX input is also included for older sources. years on and Denon’s basic sonic signature hasn’t changed one bit. It’s a fine balance between smooth and dramatic; between easy-listening and entertaining.

Hi-fi equipment is hardly ever sexy, especially at the affordable end, but Denon has made the most of what it’s got. The overall aesthetic hasn’t changed hugely over the years – it’s still a rectangular metal box with grilles on the top and sides for ventilation. The front has a brushed aluminium fascia though, and the buttons and volume knob are lightly textured. As I write this, it is a little past 1.30am. That’s because I made the mistake of starting a listening session at around midnight, and the Denon D-M41 is so entertaining that I sort of just carried on. If the D-M41DAB – which we'd again recommend pairing with the company’s designated speakers – doesn’t quite put its predecessor to shame, it certainly puts it in the shade. You may be required to pay labour, assessment or freight costs, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where the goods are assessed not to be faulty. We will provide you with a cost if this case arrises. Do you want two completely separate music playing setups or one system that can do 'multi-room' (may not be available for your budget?).Autumn Statement: State pension confirmed to rise by 8.5% from April 2024 – while some benefits will go up by 6.7%
