The untitled single will be pressed as a limited-run 7" single exclusively available to select VMP subscribers in their April shipments. Contains a sample of "Pontos De Luz" performed by Gal Costa, courtesy of Universal Brazil by arrangement of Universal Music Entertainment. A routinely great artist, much of Sufjan's universal appeal comes from his skills as a gifted narrator, pairing personal musings on love and devotion with commentary on American culture, whilst welding folk and electronica, the ambient and existential. His full length debut on Daptone Records is equal parts raw feeling and elegance and exudes confidence and charm.

Single releases like "Drive Me Crazy" with Vic Mensa and "Leave Me Alone" with Shay Lia soon spread his name like wildfire. Elsewhere, the sparkling dancehall of "Need It" transcends with one uncomplicated loop, a pretty, popcorn synth and a show-stealing topline from Masego. And for any producer who finds themselves surrounded by a sound they helped author, the temptation might be to find a new niche.

Hold tight to see if their collaborative track(s) break free of vinyl-exclusivity in the months ahead. Recorded at Hive Mind Studios in Brooklyn, NY, with the help of producer/arrangers Mike Buckley and Vincent Chiarito (both members of Charles Bradley's Extraordinaires) and crack team of a-list musicians, his upcoming album blends heavy arrangements and introspective lyrics with sophistication, leaving the listener in a blissful wash of wonderment.

Over the past decade, Canadian producer Louis Celestin, AKA Kaytranada, has filled dancefloors with his distinct brand of funk-forward house music. If you’d like to hear a cerebral wordsmith rhyming over Kaytra beats, you’re better off seeking out his collaborations with Wiki or Mach-Hommy. Contains a sample from "I Figure I'm Out Of Your Life" by Delegation, used courtesy of Sony Music Entertainment UK Limited and Songogrophy Inc. In the first installment of the two-part video series, Madlib and Kaytranada discuss their love of vinyl and sampling, while also touring the new car model.

A carefully curated guest list helps prevent Kaytraminé from tumbling into an abyss of lighthearted braggadocio. Gibbs doesn’t have Aminé’s vocal breadth, but the way he delivers questionable lines with caddish confidence—“Two girls suckin’ dick, I had my own Verzuz”—illustrates a fluency in the “ money, clothes, and hoes” schtick that his host lacks. Then we have the dons SiR and Mick Jenkins going back-to-back: SiR on "Go DJ", a house party anthem with an extremely silly but terribly infectious hook ("The blunt still burnin', the clock still turnin', The waist keep windin' while her ass keep twerkin'. The material on this site may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, cached or otherwise used, except with the prior written permission of Condé Nast. continues that tradition, and new track "Bus Ride", which features acclaimed percussionist / producer Karriem Riggins as well as rising Toronto vocalist River Tiber, demonstrates that Kaytranada has stayed within his canon while demonstrating growth on the new album.Aminé’s two most recent solo albums balanced wistful optimism with sneering swagger, presenting him as a party boy who occasionally paused for self-reflection or a critique of consumer capitalism. As a party record, Kaytraminé has no skips—provided that party is loud enough to camouflage some of the cornier lyrics.

He explains, "after he showed me the basics, from that day on I couldn't stop making beats," pumping out a handful of tracks per day for the next couple of years.Featuring samples from the Attitude recording "Love Me Tonight" produced under license from Atlantic Recording Corp.
