Although it isn't the complete recordings, this is a pretty nice way of getting the Fellowship of the Ring. It sounds incredible, amazing quality, very sharp disc color, and the leather-bound box is nice as well.The box is less sturdy compared to the rest of the box sets, so most copies of FOTR do suffer from box damage - mainly on the bottom from the weight of the discs. Even though I do like original soundtrack I found all these compositions as melodic, beautiful and mood-uplifting as well. Collectors can also find the wizard Saruman holding his black staff with his white hair parted down the middle.
